Qualified Worker Training – 2018 70E

Electrical Safety For Qualified Workers

Helps Satisfy Your OSHA Training Requirements

Electrical Safety For Qualified Workers

This one-day course includes OSHA 1910 and NFPA 70E electrical safety training requirements, and is specifically designed to help your maintenance and repair personnel to safely work around shock and arc flash hazards. We’ll discuss making the right choices when identifying hazards, assessing risk and implementing risk controls. You’ll look at real world scenarios and case studies involving injuries or citations and examine what those involved should have done differently. We’ll discuss the three legs of electrical safety; installation, maintenance and your electrical safety program. Most electrically related injuries and OSHA citations involve lack of training and proper work practices. We’ll cover risk assessments and risk control and the decision making process that leads to a safer workplace.
This course will challenge students to build an electrical safety culture based on good decision making.
